Core and Pelvic Floor Connection
This 30-minute small group 5 part class series (maximum of 3 participants) focuses initially on restoring normal coordination of the muscles of the core and extremities and builds on this foundation with exercises to improve core strength to enable you to do daily tasks without leaking, pain in your back, belly, or hips, and without compensating to make it through your daily routine. Classes are designed to be taken in sequential order, starting with Class I and working up to Class 5.
Class I: Basics of core muscle coordination
Class 2: Basic core/hip strengthening
Class 3: Intermediate core/hip strengthening
Class 4: Advanced core/hip strengthening
Class 5: Plyometrics, Return to running & lifting
If you are postpartum, you will need a doctor's release to participate.
